the mountain cabins - Established in 1831
Originally established in 1831, and then sold to Willem Johannes Krynauw in 1903, this is an old untouched farm on the side of a mountain that borders 8000 ha of mountainous wilderness.
The landscape, apart from the lower fields, has been left untouched since then, offering an abundance of fauna and flora, fed by two mountain streams.
The Mountain Cabins offer a secluded Mountain Retreat with a collection of luxury cabins to be used by you as vessels to unplug, unwind and find yourself or each other.
Nestled within 16 ha of mountains and fynbos on the slopes of the Rooiberg, you will feel the ultimate sense of seclusion and serenity.
Best of all, the mountain cabins are just 73 minutes from Cape Town, just outside Worcester and they fall within the Breedekloof Wine Valley, famous for wines, craft foods and flowers!
